You must go to the family guidance center located in the emirate in which you live.

And in the event that you do not reach a settlement with your spouse through this center, the matter will be referred to the competent court.

File a claim for alimony. In the event of a request for divorce, custody, and alimony, the case can be registered in the court in which the husband or wife resides.

Divorce entails damages due to the wife and children if there are children. Temporary alimony can be requested while the case is in progress.

Dear questioner,

Your spouse is obligated to pay alimony at all times regardless of his behavior or loyalty to you.

You can sue him before the family court after filing a family guidance center complaint.

Dear User,

According to the UAE personal status law, young children are entitled to alimony by their father in the case of a divorce.

Furthermore, adultery is a reason for divorce in the UAE. The father has to pay for expenses such as food, school, clothing, education, medical expenses, and so on for the children.

The specific amount of alimony is up to the discretion of the judge. The wife also has alimony rights during the waiting period (iddah).

Furthermore, if the after-marriage dowry was mentioned in your marriage contract, then you may claim financial support from your spouse.

Regards.
