Dear Sir,

Thank you for getting in touch with me on this.

I completely sympathise with your position. Can you please tell me if anything regarding work timings is mentioned in your labour contract?

Please note that as per the UAE Labour Law, an employer cannot make an employee work for beyond 48 hours. If the labour contract is silent on this point, then there is a very little that you can do.

Further, you are not obliged to work from some other office. You should work from the office which has given you the visa i.e. the employer's office and not the client's office.

If you are forced to work from the client's office or work beyond 48 hours a week, then you must complain at the labour department on this issue.

I trust you will find this appropriate and redress your queries.

Feel free to get in touch with me.

Regards,

Hari Wadhwana
