س: السلام عليكم،
تزوجت في العام ٢٠١٢ ولكن قبل الدخول وبسبب خلافات تم الطلاق (وذُكِر أنها لا تحل له إلا بعقد ومهر جديد في حال الرجوع مرة أخرى).
تم الصلح ولم يُحرَّر عقد جديد لجهلي بتلك الإجراءات، وحتى أبو الزوجة لم يطلب ذلك ولم نطلب شهود أو أي شيء آخر. تزوجنا وبيننا أبناء، حدثت خلافات مرة أخرى الآن في المحكمة والزوجة مُصرَّة على الطلاق، المشكلة أنها استعملت عقد الزواج القديم في القضية، وهناك عقد طلاق بعده، ما القانون المعمول به في هذه الحالة؟
هل هناك مُساءلة قانونية للطرفين؟
مع العلم بأن عقدا الزواج والطلاق الأُوَل كانا في بلدنا الأم وليس في الإمارات. وفي حال علم القضاء بورقة الطلاق، ما تبعات ذلك على الطرفين؟
تم نسب الأطفال بعقد الزواج القديم وليس هناك أي عقد زواج بعده.

كتابة ورقة عرفية بقيمة مؤخَّر الصداق بدلاً من كتابته في عقد الزواج
س: أنا مصري الجنسية متزوج من سورية مقيمة مع أهلها في أبوظبي.
عند الزواج، كتب الأب مؤخَّر الصداق "لا شيء" بعقد الزواج واستخدم ورقة عرفية أخرى وقَّع عليها نفس الشهود بمبلغ ١٢٠ ألف درهم.
هل يُعتد بهذه الورقة أم أنها تنافي عقد الزواج الإماراتي؟
علمًا بأنها هي مَن طلب الطلاق للضرر.

Q: Dear Team,
I would like to know what might happen in the conciliatory procedure. I filed a divorce against my husband and I was called for an appointment. I assume it is for this procedure. Please advise.
How can I draft a settlement agreement? How much possibly it might cost if I will consult a lawyer about this? Maybe you can refer me an adviser with regards to this concern that can charge me less.
I am just a normal worker seeking justice for my child.

المطالبة بالمهر عند رفض الفتاة إتمام الزواج بعد العقد
س: السلام عليكم،
شاب خطب فتاة وعقد عليها. بعد العقد حدثت خلافات ورفضت إكمال الزواج ولم يحصل الدخول أو الخلوة. طالب الشاب بالمهر ورفضوا إرجاعه. فتحت ملف أسري وطالبت بالطلاق ورفضت الحل الودي.
تمت الإحالة للمحكمة ولم يثبُت الضرر. رُفضت دعوى الطلاق واستأنفت ورُفض الاستئناف. ما زالت ترفض إرجاع المهر وتطلب الطلاق.
ما الإجراء المناسب من قبل الشاب؟

I purchased an apartment, but the previous landlord refuses to vacate. What to do?

I bought an apartment, but the previous landlord is refusing to vacate it. The contract clearly states that the landlord should hand over the apartment on the day of the transfer.
Out of courtesy, I gave him three days to vacate so he could find a new place to stay, but the time has passed, and he is still refusing to vacate and hand it over.

A gentleman insulted me severely over the phone during a delicate moment in my life when I was pregnant. He conveyed harsh messages through chat, causing me to feel sick, panicked, and scared.

Can my company make my position redundant and hire somebody else after I was terminated?
My company terminated my employment because it was making the position I held redundant.
I was advised that in no way was this performance-related but purely a restructuring exercise.
However, within 1 month of leaving the company, they have externally recruited another person to fill my exact position, with the same job title, that they made redundant.
Whilst I believe that this is unethical behavior, could anyone tell me if this is legal within the UAE or should I lodge a complaint for unfair dismissal?
