Welcome,

You are entitled to one ticket every year whether you leave work or not and even after the resignation you are not entitled to more than one ticket, Sir.

Please note that the answer is general because we have not seen your contract.

If you have any other inquiry you can send it and if the answer is the opposite of your inquiry you can explain more to us.

Thank you for your quick response, Mr. Khaled!

However, I need clarification on whether I can claim a two-way ticket instead of a one-way ticket upon my resignation (while flying back to my home country).

Do you mean to claim the ticket allowance in cash?

Not in cash, I want to include excess baggage while I fly to my home country and that will be an additional cost to my employer.

So if I am entitled to a two-way ticket, I can ask my employer to add extra luggage for me for the remaining way ticket, so it will be a roundtrip charge as below:

- From UAE to home country (one way)

- Additional luggage charges (one-way ticket charges)

Please advise if this is possible.

Yes, you can request to add luggage or share the shipping cost with you
