Q: I had a pending payment of AED 2656 for Etisalat, but due to some financial issues, I couldn't pay it for a long time. Now they have finally told me about legal action or travel ban. Please tell me how I can get out of this problem.

Q: In September I moved from my apartment and as I have a contract with Etisalat I called them to ask if I can move my connection to other address. I have been told that this area is coved by Du so I have been suggested to close my account, which I did. Now after such a long time, I have received an email from Etisalat that my account was overdue by almost 2k Dh. I directly contacted Etisalat, I have spoken with a few people there without any resolution. Also, I have emailed to their customer care centre but till now my complaint has not been resolved. All the supportive documents I have in hands. Where do I stand from a legal perspective? What would you advise?

Q: If the travel ban already imposed, is there any way to remove it? The travel ban came from Etisalat for unpaid bills.

س: يوجد علي مبلغ مستحق من قبل شركة الاتصالات وقيمته 1500 درهم منذ تاريخ 2016، وأنا الآن خارج الإمارات. هل يحظر علي السفر إلى الإمارات؟ علماً أنه وصلني إنذار من شركة الاتصالات بانه تم إحالة ملفي لاتخاذ إجراء قانوني وحظر السفر، بينما الدولة -حسب علمي- تطبق حظر السفر لمن كان عليه ديون أكثر من 10 آلاف درهم.

Q: I have an unpaid du bill and I'm going to renew my visa and Emirates ID. Will I be having a problem with it?

س: لو سمحت أنا كنت في الإمارات واشتركت في الإنترنت المنزلي وغادرت الدولة ولا تزال فاتورة الإنترنت تُحسَب كل شهر بدون استخدام النت. اتصلت بالشركة لألغي الاشتراك فقالوا لي لا بد أن تُسدد القيمة البالغة ٣٥٠٠ درهم. لا تزال فاتورة كل شهر تُحسَب. هل تحدث مشكلة في المطار أو عند الدخول لدى إجراء زيارة للدولة؟

س: السلام عليكم، كيف أستطيع أن أعرف إن صدر ضدي حظر أو منع سفر في الدولة؟
