A travel ban is issued due to cheque execution. What to do?
Dear sir/madam,
I have received an SMS from the Dubai court that a travel ban has been issued to me due to cheque execution.
What should I do?
Dear questioner,
To begin with your issue, you have to provide us with a notarized power of attorney so that we will be able to represent you before the police station, CID, and the public prosecution.
In addition, once we get a copy of the POA from you, we will start to check your criminal record in the UAE in order to get accurate details about your ban (case number, amount, name of the complainant, and which police station) and we will provide you with the whole information previously mentioned.
Furthermore, please note that our professional legal fees to check your criminal records in the UAE will be AED 1,000.
Shall you have any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us via phone or email.
Thanks!
Dear questioner,
The creditor has imposed the travel ban to ensure you do not leave the country without repaying your debt. You may challenge the issue in court but it is unlikely that it will be in your favor.
The creditor is the one who can request the removal of the travel ban. You may negotiate with the creditor or come to an agreement on how you will repay the amount.
Kind regards,
