Yes, you may travel to your country. Filing a case against someone does not restrict your freedom to leave the country and travel somewhere else, as long as you have a valid residency or visa.
We suggest you keep tabs on the case and follow up, or appoint someone, maybe a friend or a lawyer, with your POA to follow up on your behalf and ensure the case does not get closed.
