Questions & Answers
How can I file a civil case of performance order against a bounced cheque?
I need an experienced lawyer who has handled a civil case (performance order) for a bounced cheque (the reason is a closed account).
The cheque amount is 200k. The company is LLC (cheque issued by the company) and the company is now sold.
What happens exactly when I file the civil case and how long it will take?

The account is closed which means it's a criminal complaint, not a civil one.
However, you can file a motion as per the law and the court order should be issued within 3 days.

Dear S.
Any lawyer can file a civil case. The most important thing is to execute the judgment.
What we suggest is to file a cheque case claiming the amount which will take approximately two weeks to get the judgment after filing the case, in case the bank account is still open.
In case the bank account is closed it will take from one month to 45 days.
