حصلت على بعض القروض من البنوك في عام 2015 والتي بلغت 400 ألف من 3 بنوك. الآن مع نهاية 2022، راجعت ولا توجد قضية جنائية أو منع من السفر ضدي وهو أمر يريحني.

أخطط لدخول دبي مرة أخرى، لكنني أخشى أن ترفع البنوك مرة أخرى قضية أخرى ضدي بسبب هذه الديون القديمة بناءً على القانون التجاري / المدني الجديد. هل انتهى الدين؟

Hello,

There were a lot of changes in Commercial Transactions and Civil Transactions laws but the limitation period for recovery of monetary obligations did not change.

It remains 10 years since the obligation became due. Hence, it is better you ensure to settle your obligations with banks before coming.

Hello,

This is correct, if the agreement is classified as civil then the limitation period is 15 years.

If it is a commercial contract, then it is 10 years.

In every event, the limitation period needs to be assessed individually, based on the underlying contract and factors that may stop the limitation period from running.
