Brother's address was provided for getting a loan and it is not paid. Can he travel to the UAE?

Hi,

I have 2 credit cards in the UAE.

Due to Covid-19, I returned to my home country without paying my dues.

When I was requesting a credit card, I provided my brother's mobile no and address in my home country to the bank person.

Now randomly, the bank is contacting my brother about my bank dues.

The issue is my brother wishes to come to Dubai for work. If he comes to Dubai, may the police or bank catch him and ask for my bank dues?

Or can my brother work in Dubai without any issues and enter without any issues?

Please explain to me!

Dear questioner,

Please contact us via WhatsApp and send a copy of the Emirates ID to check the status of the system from the Ministry of Interior to see if it is required for a case/cases or not.

Dear questioner,

Thank you for your query!

Since your brother is your point of contact for issuing credit cards, it is highly likely for him to be stopped at immigration in Dubai.

The safest option for you is to make a settlement with your bank regarding your liabilities and we can help you with that.

For more information, please contact us via phone.

Thank you!

But I have provided his name and address only.

How can they track him?

At that time, he did not have even his passport.

Dear questioner,

Banks have various ways to track creditors by improving technology systems in the UAE.
