Appealing a court order of deportation for criminal violation
Hi,
My son was found guilty of smoking weed. The charges were consumption and possession for consumption.
Can we appeal to cancel the deportation? Does it have any repercussion in case the appeal is denied?

Hello
It seems from your question that a verdict has already been issued against your son and part of that verdict is a deportation order.
Your son has 15 days to appeal the verdict, otherwise, the verdict will be deemed final and enforceable.
To answer your question directly, yes, you can appeal the case and there will be no additional repercussions against your son if the appeal is denied.
