Traveling to a non-GCC country while a loan is not paid in the UAE
Dear sir/madam,
I was having credit when I was in Dubai. I came on vacation during the COVID pandemic. Because of my health issues, I couldn't go back but I have some amount due.
I want to pay this amount. In this case, if I will travel to a non-GCC country, is there a risk of being caught?
Please advise.
Thanks!

Dear questioner,
If the payment is not made for a long time, there could be a possibility that the bank must have filed a case against you and there could be a travel ban so.
Please check the travel ban before traveling to any GCC country.
Good afternoon and thank you for your query.
Can you explain more about your case, was it a personal loan or a credit card?
For your information, the UAE government has the necessary means to proceed with the legal case against the defaulters in other countries, therefore it is better for you to close your liabilities and we can assist you with that.
