The borrower has given a cheque while the bank account is closed. What to do?
Hello,
When I finished my prayer and was leaving the mosque, an individual approached me and asked me to drive him to a near destination.
On the way, he told me that he has financial difficulties and his sick wife needs a flight ticket to travel.
He kept mentioning: "I’m not a beggar and I have a business". He showed me his valid visa and offered to give me a cheque to ensure that he’ll pay me back.
It has been around a month and he is not paying me back.
He also said that his account is closed so the cheque won’t work. I’m not sure what to do now?
Should I check the cheque and if it bounces, what do I need to do next?
Your help is appreciated!
I also have all the chat history to back my claims.
Dear questioner,
The bounced check was previously punishable by imprisonment and a fine, but after amending the law, there is currently no criminal case in the checks, due to insufficient balance or closing the account, but the criminal case is in the case of forgery.
The situation is that a civil case is being registered and some procedures are being taken to collect the amount.
If there is a problem or an issue regarding bounced checks, or you have had a previous judgment or action against you, it can be canceled.
You must contact us via email to take the necessary legal procedures to cancel the procedures.
Do not hesitate to request the service to cancel the procedures.
Dear questioner,
Proceed to the bank to claim the amount and if the cheque returns back due to the account being closed, it is a criminal act and the person will be travel banned and arrested.
