Deducting employee absence days from gratuity

Dear sir/madam,

In terms of calculating gratuity, do they deduct the days I was absent from work?

Remember, these days while I was absent, the company deducted a day or days from my salary.

For example: if I am absent for a day from work without permission, the company deducts one day or even 3 days from my salary. For the 10 years I have worked, I have been absent for 21 days from work, and all these days they deducted from my salary.

Will they still deduct my gratuity?

Absence was a result of being sick and not being able to bring a sick leave.

Thanks!

Welcome,

The days of absence from work that are deducted from the salary are also deducted from the end of service gratuity.

In the event that you need to calculate your labor dues from the end of service gratuity, etc., you can contact us via email.
