Initiating proceedings for divorce due to domestic violence
My husband has been constantly abusing me and has taken a lot of money from me. I have been fed up and want to end this, I had contacted 800111 but hadn't taken a medical report.
Police have also come to the house twice. He has been cheating me and watches porn and lies, I'm an Indian. Please tell me how to proceed.
In the past, he has blamed me enough, when the police came he started crying and telling that I'm the one who bears and isn't believing him.
The policeman didn't believe him after looking at my state and advised me to go for divorce.

With the deepest sympathy towards your current situation, we advise you to file for divorce. Filing divorce can be done through personal status court in Dubai.
During the divorce procedure, you may enter into a settlement agreement for all your rights, including but not limited to, child custody, visitation rights (if there is any child), maintenance and all other allied matters.
