Q: Can the employee take sick leave during the notice period?

Q: My company terminated me based on articles 82,83,84 & 85 after I got a stroke in November 2019 when I was on duty and the company took me to hospital. My GM also visited me home saying that no need to submit sick leave as it will cost you every time. Once you're fine come to work. They forcefully took signature on annual leave after one month of my sickness. I was paralyzed from one side and was not in a condition to travel, still, the company issued me a ticket part of the annual leave. Now, they have terminated me and did not pay the salary to me since January 2020 nor are they paying my physiotherapy bills. They didn't even give me any notice period before termination. Please advise what can I do. I have even filed a labour complaint but it's of no use. I am a driver by profession. Please contact me. Thank you

Q: Hi I have joined a company on 19 September 2021 and took unpaid leave (after approval) for 9 days. As per the offer letter, probation is 3 months but in the labor contract, it's 6 months. They have been back and forth on my completion of the probation period so I don't know if I did complete the probation or not. I resigned on 14 March 2022 and they asked me to serve a notice period which is until 31 March (if I didn't complete my probation why did they ask me to do a notice period?). Q: I resigned from the company by giving notice of 30 days but wasn't able to complete the duration. I took an absence leave for the last 06 days and every day sent an email to the company for taking leave on those days. Once the 30 days were completed, my company sent me an email claiming the following: "Due to your failure to serve the notice period since submitting your letter of resignation, which is considered a clear violation of the labor law, it requires compensation depending on the type of damage you caused".
