Checking records for the possibility of a bounced cheque case
Hi there.
I'm interested to know if there's any legal case against me. I'm a victim of a bounced cheque, however, the guy who bounced the cheque had absconded.
I also left the country fearing the arrest.

Dear Questioner,
You can check for such travel ban by getting in contact with the Police Department - in person - and to check if there are any criminal complaints against you and if your name is listed on the blacklist/travel ban list of the Police Department.
Of course, if you have a risk of being listed, it is never recommended to do the task on your own because the Police Officer checking may arrest you on the spot if you are listed.
It is recommended to buy the service of legal professionals to represent you before the Police Dept. to perform such checking with a Power of Attorney issued from you in their favour.
Below are the needed documents in case you are a UAE Resident:
1. Passport copy
2. Visa page copy
3. Emirates ID copy
4. Power of Attorney notarized by the Notary Public in the UAE.
Such service is available on the portal and you can email my office on admin@elnaggarlegal.com to buy the service.
Best regards,
Ahmed Elnaggar
