Pursuant to your query, since the employee was not terminated by the employer, the employer is not obliged to pay him for the repatriation flight, however, for his unused ticket, he should get his ticket allowance.

However, if there has been any clause in his offer letter or contract which specifies that there is a certain time period to avail of those tickets then the employee has to abide by that.

If the employee has not been aware of any such clause and there is no written evidence of it, the employee can raise a complaint in the MOHRE.
