Can I get police clearance certificate if I was fined for getting drunk in the past?

I had been taken to jail in Dubai but never charged and received a fine for being drunk leaving a bar.

Will I receive the police clearance?

I continued to work there for years later and that was 10 years ago now?

My police clearance letter is taking ages.

Dear Questioner,

As long as you do not have any currently active cases or unsettled judgments, you should be able to receive the PCC.

Due to shorter working hours during Ramadan, the process might take longer.

Thank you so much for the reply.

The current status is saying "review the concerned party" what does this mean?

I called the MOI on their number and he told me to call the security media department as they need to speak with me.

As I say no charges were ever brought. It was over 10 years ago and I was let out with a fine.

What is the media department?

Do you know any further help with this?
