Q: Hello,
My sister is married to an Indian who is working in Dubai for the last 6-7 years. He has been completely cut off from his wife and 1-year-old kid for the last 3 months.
He writes in emails that he doesn’t want to continue and that he is going to cancel my sister's residence visa.
What options do we have in this case?
My sister wants that he should continue the marriage but his activities do not suggest so.
Is he not liable for anything?
What rights do we have to pressurize him or in the future should we apply for abandonment/divorce in India or Dubai?

Is it possible to file a case of maintenance without a divorce?
6
Q: Assalam Alaikum,
I am French and have 4 children, and I am 3 months pregnant.
I reside in the UAE and my husband clearly stated that he is leaving for Turkey because life is less expensive than the UAE and that I will have to pay all the bills here by myself and take care of the kids as I am working here.
What can I do? What about when the baby will be born?
All my children are under my residency (iqama) Alhamdulillah but will I be able to add my baby under my iqama knowing that the father abandoned us and we are not legally divorced?
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your answer.

I have filed for a maintenance case without an intention for divorce. The case has reached the hearing stage. In the first hearing, my husband said that he wants to offer me a settlement outside the court.
The next hearing is after 4 days and till now, he has not presented anything to me.
I am still his wife. What kind of settlement can he offer in a maintenance case?

Can I file a maintenance case against my husband and enforce in the country where he lives?

1
Q: My husband has stopped paying the rent of my home and stopped paying the fees for my daughter's education. I started a marital amicable reconciliation lawsuit which is under consideration.
I also registered a Petition on Order, and the court ordered that my husband should provide a home for me immediately. The court tried to phone my husband but he did not pick up the phone since he is working in Saudi Arabia.
Question A) How do I enforce the order that I received? Should I go to the police station? How do I get money from the UAE assets and accounts of my husband?
Question B) Are orders and verdicts of Dubai Courts executable in Saudi Arabia? What is the procedure to start the execution of Dubai Court orders and verdicts in Saudi Arabia?
Since I now have no home and very little money, please help me.

The public prosecution appealed a judgment to increase the fine I already paid. What do I do now? 0
Good afternoon,
Thank you for your time.
The public prosecution appealed my judgment (a fine that I satisfactorily cleared) and requested increasing the fine.
Can you please explain what happens during a criminal case appeal hearing for me as a defendant?
Will I be asked questions?
Is the hearing just for the Public Prosecution to present their appeal to the judge, and I do not need to give a response?
Thank you again for your time.

I received a termination letter from my company for restructuring. Is this considered arbitrary dismissal? 0
I received a termination letter from my company on January 31st, 2025, with a one-month notice period, stating my last working day as February 28th, 2025.
The reason given for the termination is "considering the current business scenario, the company has considered measures to reorganize the business."
Could this be considered arbitrary dismissal?
Am I entitled to any compensation or benefits from the company as a result of this termination?
