Q: My concern is: I'm working on an unlimited contract and I'm 5 months now on my work and I want to resign now.
On my contract, it's written there is no notice period and it isn't written to pay any visa from them under the probation period.
Is there any possibility that my company can get compensation from me?

Employee's request for compensation after termination during the probation period

Q: Hello,
We had terminated an employee during his probation period due to non-performance. We did not give notice as per Article 120 clause 2. The employee requested us verbally to keep the visa till the time he finds a new job.
We kept his visa for the next 4 months when he finally requested us to cancel his visa (meanwhile the probation period also got over).
After his visa was canceled and everything was sorted out, he is asking us to pay his salary for these 4 months and compensation for arbitrary dismissal whereas he has no evidence that he worked for the company during these 4 months.
We want to know that if the employee has stopped working for the company, then is the company liable to pay for salaries?

Q: I'm here in Sharjah on my visit visa, and I got a job in a company. But after 2 months and 19 days, they refused to continue my job.
I'm okay with it, but they are not giving me my salary, and they have my passport also. My visa is going to expire on January 4, 2023, as I already informed them.
I also have an offer letter. what can I do now?

What are the consequences she has to bear?
Is the new employer liable to pay the visa charges or the employee?

Uncomfortable with workload. Any liabilities upon resigning?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
I am currently on a company visa, which began last October 2023. However, with the recent management change, I am uncomfortable with my workload.
I am handling the responsibilities of three positions but receiving a low salary. Moreover, 80% of my colleagues, including management, are Russian speakers, while I am not.
Many of my colleagues have minimal workloads but higher salaries. I feel exploited, discriminated against, and undervalued.
If I decide to resign, are there any liabilities I need to settle with the company?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The new employee will start on June 1, 2025. However, he would like to open a new bank account in the UAE thus asking to provide the salary certificate mentioning his salary in AED and if possible not mentioning the start date.

I received a termination letter from my company for restructuring. Is this considered arbitrary dismissal? 0
I received a termination letter from my company on January 31st, 2025, with a one-month notice period, stating my last working day as February 28th, 2025.
The reason given for the termination is "considering the current business scenario, the company has considered measures to reorganize the business."
Could this be considered arbitrary dismissal?

By checking in Al Adheed, I have found there is a marital matter case against me in Dubai Courts. There is a hearing date for next week and the time mentioned in the case status with a link for an online hearing.
However, I have not received any message from Dubai courts regarding this by mail or phone. I have all contact details updated with EID. In this case, what should I do?
