Breaching a purchase agreement of a villa by a developer. What to do?
Dear sir/madam,
I am from Pakistan and a cancer patient. I purchased a villa land from a developer and as per the agreement, they had to give possession after 20% payment but I paid 70% but they did not hand over possession and sent me a demand note of 100% plus more added amounts.
They did not comply with the terms and conditions themselves and kept on putting penalties on me. I am helpless. Maybe they will confiscate my money?!
It is a matter of life and death for me.

If you didn’t take legal action, they may take your money!
Kindly send the SPA so we will check the conditions.
If it is true as you said that they have to hand over with 20% of payment so you have to take all your legal actions against them like sending a warning letter to hand over or to terminate the contract or asking for compensation.
That depends on the contract and the accomplishment of the property.

As per your query, if there is a breach of the terms, then the contract can be canceled and the money can be refunded as per the contract clauses.
Also, we have to know, the percentage of completion of the project.
