Claiming salaries wrongfully deposited to an employee after his resignation
Good morning,
I resigned from my job last year, but my contract was still active for a year.
That company kept depositing my salary after my resignation till my contract ended. Now, that company is asking me to pay back.
What is the legal opinion on that?
Thank you!

Dear questioner,
Aside from any moral perspective and honesty, you are not obliged by any means to return the money back to the company.
It is a legitimate transaction representing salaries against an open contract.
Submitting your resignation was a decision from your end to terminate the labor contract, while keeping depositing into your account means that the contractual obligations were still ongoing based on the fact that you are receiving your salary on time.
Nothing could prove the opposite of the above.
Best Regards,
