Should my employer provide me with air ticket if I don't leave Bahrain upon resignation?

Hi,

I'm working in Bahrain, I already submitted my resignation & was accepted by my employer.

However, my employer declined to provide my one-way ticket to my home country due to the fact that I was locally hired.

Kindly advise if the company is obliged to pay to the employee the cost of the air ticket back to my home country upon my resignation.

Only the last employer to whom the visa is issued is required to provide a return ticket (subject to any other provisions in your contract of employment).

If you did not leave Bahrain and transferred your visa to another employer, the old employer is not required to pay for a return ticket.
