Q: I have won a labour court case against my employer, however, it's over 6 months now and I am still unpaid. My previous employer changed his license and also the office, but his office is at the same location. However, he has refused to pay. I have the court order and execution, and I also have a court order to go to the Ministry of Human Resources instructing them or the bank to facilitate payment. Q: My company is based in Abu Dhabi and some of our employees in Dubai were terminated last year (September, October, November 2018). We employees approached MOHRE and out of 4 times, only 2 times the company PRO attended. And since the company was unwilling to settle the EOSB or even salaries, the matter was transferred to the court. Since May, salaries were not paid to employees. For the first 2-3 persons, the court had released a judgement and no appeal was done by the company. And even after the execution stage, the company is unwilling to pay money to those employees. To certain employees, the company started sending lawyers and delayed hearings and appealed twice thus delaying things. One employee's health condition was not good and he submitted medically unfit documents to the court but nothing happened till date. The company has a branch in Dubai and these employees are under Dubai. How can the money be collected?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I have a labour case in Abu Dhabi Courts in regard to pending salary and gratuity. The Abu Dhabi FIC court has issued a judgment in favour of me but the company (Employer) didn't yet pay me. Now the case in Abu Dhabi enforcement court for execution. The first hearing/trial was on 23 March 2020, and the court personnel told me that my case is transferred to the group case and no need to come again, the court will inform me when the employer will deposit money in the court. Q: I am an employee of a mainland company in Dubai. I won a partial labor case of AED 145,000 then the company submitted an appeal and got rejected by the court. I got the final judgment and filed labor execution. The court sent a notice of 15 days which has passed and my company filed a petition to review the labor for my main case, and in the last hearing, the court asked me to reply which I will submit. My question is: how many times can the company appeal like this? And what are the chances this petition court will reject as well and follow the last 2 judgments issued by the court?

Q: Dear Sir, I filed a labor complaint against my employer for not paying my salary on time. The court judgment came on 28 November 2022, and then in December 2022 I applied for execution. On 3 January 2023, my company paid my money to the court and until today (11.02.2023), almost 45 days had gone and I still did not get my money from the court. I don't know if my company paid to court then why does the Dubai court take 45 days to give me my money? I do not understand now. Q: Dear respectable Legal experts, I have a question: I filed a case against my employer for my salary, gratuity, and annual leave and it took 6 months until the case judgment came in my favor. During these months, I could not get a job due to the legal case as other employers were reluctant to offer me a job. Please advise as per the UAE Labor Law. Do I have the right to claim any housing allowance or basic salary any compensation? Q: Hi. The court ruled on my labor case AED 12900 on 27 Dec 2023. On 11 Jan 2024 after the Final Ruling, I filed to enforced execution. My employer has deposited 10900 holding 2000. Every time I visit Al Adheed Center they use to say It's under process or I have to refile paying AED 30. Still, I haven't received any amount until now. What should I do to get the amount?

Q: Dear Lawyers, Kindly assist please, 1. I got a favorable judgment against my employer after completing my contract without renewal. I executed and they refused to pay after Dubai Court served them notice. I made the block request which was confirmed by Al Adheed, however, the company still won’t pay (But the company pays workers' salaries in between which I can confirm). Q: I opened execution one month ago and Abu Dhabi labor enforcement already seized the trade license, company cars, and bank accounts Now the company called and offered to give me the money but they want to give me cash at Enjaz office Mussafah in Abu Dhabi. I heard that once the execution is opened, the company must deposit the amount in the enforcement labor court only.
