I filed a police case after I was discharged from the hospital, after 3 weeks. I made a follow-up on my case with the police department and they told me that it has been forwarded to the public prosecutor and is still under processing. My questions are the following: 1) How long does it take for the public prosecutor to process my case and will someone notify me of the progress of my case? Or do I have to make follow up with the police every time? 2) I have not filed any compensation damages yet, against the car insurance of the person who hit me, as I am waiting for the result of my case, would that be fine?
