Returning to the UAE to find another job if the previous employer did not cancel the visa

Dear sir/madam,

I have returned to the UK as I resigned in my 6 month probation period due to my parents' health. I still have a valid residency visa in the UAE as my workplace has not canceled it yet.

If it was not canceled yet, can I return to the UAE and find another job?

Is that possible even if on a holiday visa? Or would it be wise to start another job with another visa in say 3 months' time or even 6 months going through the visa process again?

I didn't abscond. I followed through with the finishing process exactly as required where my workplace was concerned.

Dear questioner,

If it's Ok with your company, you can take N.O.C from them when you come to get a new job. If not, be sure that your visa is valid before you come.

If it is valid, come by the same visa and make a cancelation. After that, you have a grace period of 1 month. If you get a job, you can make a status amendment, if not, you have to leave again and try a tourist visa and start searching for a job.

Thank you!

Thanks!

I will probably try tourist visa entry and look for a job or get one from the UK and see if they can help to process me in 6 months' time from now.

If you have a valid resident visa, your application for a tourist visa will get rejected.

My current workplace should cancel my current residency visa as I left in my probation period with no problems. They have to cancel it soon. 6 months from now, that visa should clear. Is that correct?

If I got a new job starting in August, would I apply for a new work permit and then a visa?

Then, good luck.

Thanks!

Dear questioner,

If I take your place, I would come on the same visa and try to find a new job here, then take NOC from them.

I believe your previous company was not in hurry to cancel your visa, so you can come as long as your visa is still valid.

Good luck!
