Q: Good day,
I just want to ask, when is my last day at work. My visa and contract will end on the 27th of January. And today, the 14th of January, I will send to them the non-renewal letter.
I am on a limited contract. For my non-renewal, do you think they will accept it?

Q: I was working with a company in Abu Dhabi since 2014 and successfully completed my 2-year limited contract.
Now, I sent a non-renewal letter to my company after finishing my contract, but they are forcing me to sign one more contract and not releasing me by saying that I am supervising many projects and I cannot leave suddenly.
It is very important for me to go back to my country and solve my personal problems. kindly suggest, what should I do?
I have already booked a complaint against them in labour but I am worried that through labour dept. it will take time as my employer always skip court hearings.
Kindly suggest and also correct me if I am wrong, do the employee in a limited contract need to give notice period before the expiry of work permit?

Q: Hello Sir,
I am working in the airport as a manager. I did my contract renewal on 28 Jan 2020, which is valid for 3 years.
In my contract, it says I need to inform the employer 90 days before about not renewing the contract.
My contract letter is expiring on 27 Jan 23, I informed my higher authorities on 16 Dec 22 that I am not continuing my services after my contract period end.
Is it compulsory to do 90 days for my official information, or is it only 30 days as per the law?

My unlimited labor contract expires on October 27, 2023, but my Emirates ID expires on December 12.
Can I stop working on October 27 without sending a non-renewal letter?

Our internal contract has a notice period of 3 months from both parties. In the new labor implementation, only one month's notice is required for less than 5 years of service.
Please advise if we can follow our internal contract since the position is very curtailed and the organization will not be able to replace the position within one month.

Can you please clarify the correct annual leave salary rules?
Some say it is basic + HRA for the month you will take off, others say it is full salary, and somewhere I read it is basic + HRA (annual leave salary) plus the normal salary you get.
