The consequences of returning to the UAE while financial dues are pending

Dear Sir/Madam,

An RDC judgment of Aed100500/- was issued against me in Dubai. They did the evictìon in my absence. I defaulted on rental cheques due to having no salary for a long time

I was in India for 3 months to settle my family. The firm is in Dubai. No official information was given to me for any activities at any time. I got all information and judgments unofficially.

I am coming back to Dubai on the 2nd of December. The judgment was issued on the 14th of October and the eviction is being processed today as per unofficial information.

Would I face any problem at the airport on arrival?

Please give me an advice!

Thanks and regards,

Dear questioner,

Eviction is only a part of the judgment. The outstanding rent is the actual claim. You may get stopped by the airport police since the execution of judgment is already under process.

Further, if your landlord might have filed a complaint about cheque bounce. In that case, you may get stopped and arrested in the airport for this reason as well.

Please feel free to contact me if you need any further assistance.

And if they arrest me for the cheque bounce, what will happen next?

Since the amount is less than 200,000, they may release you upon fine payment which will be less than 10,000.

If I have no money at that time, is there a way to leave me on a passport guarantee?

And does it happen on public hoĺdays?
