Dear questioner,

As per the law, you shall receive your entitlements upon signing the cancelation paper. In practice, some employers make the employee sign the cancelation paper, and later within that 28 days, they will transfer the dues after calculation.

However, signing the cancelation paper will not take away any of your rights to claim your employment dues.

It is now up to your discretion to sign the cancelation paper or not.
