Is the permission of the first wife required for the second marriage?

Dear.

I am a Pakistani resident in the UAE. I want to make second marriage with a Pakistani girl here in the UAE.

Do I need permission from my first wife? What are the documents required?

Hi

You don't need the first wife's permission if you wish to go for a second marriage.

You both require Medical certificates and 2 Muslim witnesses, and the bride's father's presence, or an appointed proxy by him.
