Asking to vacate the apartment 2 months before the end of the contract
Dear Sir/Madam,
My tenancy contract is ending on 28th November 2021. My landlord verbally expressed his intentions to sell the property on 19th August 2021.
Later on 5th September 2021, he sent me an email asking me to vacate the apartment at the end of the contract period (28th November 2021).
Is this legal or does the landlord have to give me a 12-month notice while renewing the contract?
What are my options in this scenario?

The landlord has to give you at least 12 months' notice to vacate the property and this communication has to be in writing and sent via a notary public or registered mail as per the law.
