Am I required to cancel my labor contract before applying to the Golden Visa?

I am in the process of applying for a golden visa (I am a Doctor).
My question is do I have to cancel my labour contract? And if I do, what are the pros and cons of doing this?

In such a case, I would recommend you not to cancel your contract, just go ahead with the procedures of the golden visa and it will be stuck somewhere when they are trying to issue your golden visa because it will be in discrepancy with the current employment visa.
