1
Q: Hello,
My inquiry is in connection with a restriction placed on my wife from entering the UAE.
In May this year, we flew to the Dubai airport. I was cleared but my wife was not. Please note that my wife never lived in the UAE although we both lived in Qatar. We contacted Qatar and consequently cleared the issue she had with a bank and was given a clearance letter from the bank.
However, the restriction in the UAE is still valid even after we had settled the original issue. This has been ongoing for the past 3 months. I will like to engage a legal service to help us resolve this and obtain a police clearance.

Can I travel without trouble after paying the fine in a bounced cheque case?
4
Q: Hi Mam,
I had a bounced cheque criminal case, but I have paid the fine and got the clearance letter from Dubai Prosecution for the case.
Is that ok or do I need to remove my name from somewhere else as I am traveling to the UAE and wanted to know if I will have any issues?
Looking forward to your guidance.
Thanks for your support.

How to get a travel ban removed after paying the whole pending amount of a claim?
2
Q: Dear sir/madam,
I had a case with the company. The company won the case and I had to pay 9000 AED. I was out of the UAE. The court issued an arrest warrant. I came back and It was 11000 AED.
The company had to pay me 3100 AED and 2000 AED for the ticket. I opened an execution file and the court deducted the amount due.
I paid 20% and applied for installments. The first installment should be on the 5th of Feb 2022, but I paid all the pending 4402 AED in cash. I have a travel ban because of this case.
How to clear that? What documents will the court give me?
So can I proceed to immigration for my new visa?

How to request a full check of pending cases for bounced cheques?
3
Q: Hi,
I would like to request a full check of any further pending cases against me for debt (bounced cheques) in both Dubai and Sharjah, this occurred over 10 years ago when I was a resident.
I was arrested upon arrival at Dubai airport in 2008, taken to Sharjah court and had to pay AED 10,000. I actually don’t even know what debt that was for, or if it was a penalty, the debt is gone now.
I do think there are further unresolved problems.
What documents do you require for the investigation?
And can you, in the event that there may not be any further cases, provide a clearance certificate or clear my criminal record?
Sorry, this is a long set of questions.
Also, What would the cost be?
Thanks

What to do if the bank is taking money without resolving my case?
4
Q: Hi
We had a case against us by a bank for a loan (claim amount 236000.00 AED) for which we paid a legal fee of AED 25000.00 to the bank along with the outstanding claim amount as per judgment.
After two months we received a court order to pay AED 10000.00 as a court fee. Please advise who should be paying the court fee as we have paid AED 25000.00 to the bank already as a legal fee.
Also would like to know the exact legal fees for the claim amount.

Can I travel to my country for vacation after finishing a case and paying fine?

1
Q: Good day Sir/Mam
I have a question.
We/I have been involved in a fight last week, and the police arrested us.
After a week in jail, the Abu Dhabi first instance court released a paper for our fine which we already paid, then we were just released.
My questions are:
Is there a possibility that I can use my vacation to my country?
Is there another hearing session happening after we pay the fine?
Or is there another thing I need to do so I can leave the country temporarily because of my vacation is coming?
Thank you in advance.

I had a travel ban and already the fine but the case is still on the system. What to do?

7
Q: Hi,
I have a travel ban in Abu Dhabi but I have paid the fine already to the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department and have the receipt with me.
I'm on the way to have my employment visa soon. I checked on the Estafser website, and there is still one case under my name, and it has the same case number as the paid case.
May I know if this will affect my employment visa?
Thanks in advance!

Dubai court orders me to pay civil case again after I already paid. What to do?

0
Q: Hi,
I paid a civil case in full, had my travel ban removed, and exited the country.
I recently received a notification from the Dubai court ordering me to pay the case again.
I am not sure why this is happening, as I already paid the case.

Can I cancel my house sale contract without extra fees after personal plans changed? 0
Dear Lawyers,
I signed a Form F with a buyer for the sale of my house as we were planning to leave the country. The contract was signed about a month ago, but the handover is not until August.
Due to personal circumstances changing, we are no longer leaving Dubai and would like to cancel Form F.
The Form F contract stipulates that we have to pay the buyer 10% of the purchase value. The real estate agent is now claiming that we also have to pay the buyer's real estate commission and the conveyancing fee.
Our understanding is that the 10% penalty is the only penalty. Which is correct, and what are the next steps to dispute this?
Also, is there any way to dispute the 10% itself under the law due to personal circumstances changing?

He didn't mention what this personal use means. He already has multiple houses for rent and he has his own which he is living in currently.
Is it legal to evict me?
Thanks
