How to make sure all cases/files are dropped and closed?

I had a case for a returned check of 3960 AED. Both I and the claimant are currently outside the UAE. I am in the UK and the other party is in Sweden.

I contacted the person through a 3rd party and arranged to repay via Western Union. It was completed. The person assured me once received that the case would be dropped but since then, I have not heard anything.

I need to come back to the UAE soon and am worried about this case. I have all the evidence of sending the owed amount to the person but as I'm outside the UAE.

I need to know what I can do to make sure all cases/files are dropped and closed.

The correct procedure is a settlement.

The case should be withdrawn by the claimant. A letter should be issued and notarized, then attached along with the clearance letter towards the case.
