Filing a civil case against a company for denying partnership investment
Hi,
I want to get advice on what I should do with a company based in Dubai, which is not adding me as a partner even after payment of 100% my share money.
I have even paid double by investing all my salaries of 16 months. I am out of the UAE now.
Please advise.
Many thanks.

Dear Sir
If you have a proof of payment, then you can file a civil case in the court.

Hello,
Firstly, I would like to know more, as in do you have any documents to prove that this was your money?
Secondly, do you have an agreement with them or any sort of understanding signed by all the parties involved?
In the absence of all of the above, you should at least have some emails and bank transfers or cheques to prove a commercial relationship.
We can send them a legal notice from the notary public as a start, and try to reach a settlement with them on your behalf.
However, the chances of that working are usually low if they have already refused. Then after that, a civil case in Dubai court is the only option.
If you would like to further this, please contact me at yousif@alsaffar-legal.com to discuss details in private, and I can tell you about your available options.
