Refusing to provide an employee with a plane ticket due to resignation

Hello!

Good day!

I just want to ask some questions regarding my employer. I resigned from my job as a security guard here in Sharjah. My company is based in Abudhabi Mussafah workers village.

My last day of duty is this coming June 11, 2021. I finished 955 days without taking any vacation from the company.

When I asked about my plane ticket in HR, they refused to give it. According to them, due to my resignation, they are not allowed to provide a ticket at their expense as per the company rule. Is it right?

Thank you!

No, it is not, because the flying ticket is based on the work agreement between you and the employer.

Once it is finished due to your resignation or his termination, in both cases, you deserve a flying ticket and also you deserve a full month payment on each year of service against your annual leave.
