Is the Georgian marriage certificate valid in the UAE?
Hello,
We are a Filipino couple. We have a Georgian marriage certificate; UAE authenticated but we did not register the certificate to the Philippine consulate as I am still legally married to my X-husband although we’ve been separated for almost 7 years.
Is my Georgian marriage certificate valid in the UAE? And is it valid if I want to get pregnant here in the UAE?

However, if the authorities in the UAE sent a verification request to the authorities in your country, they will inform your local marriage which will affect this certificate, but your current situation of marriage and pregnancy won't be affected and you can register your child under the name of your new husband.
Yes, the marriage certificate is valid in the UAE, as it is certified by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is valid for work within the country, and in the law, the marriage still exists between you and your husband despite your separation.
