Entering the UAE with an on-arrival visa after canceling a residency visa
Hello,
I really need help getting an accurate answer to this simple question because I keep getting different opinions!
My dad had an investor visa in Dubai/UAE. His investor visa EXPIRED last year. His lawyer completed an official cancelation after the expiry.
My dad had sponsored me under his visa (I had a residency visa; NOT a work visa). I was out of Dubai when our visas expired. Since my dad has done an official cancelation on his visa after expiry, do I need to do anything on my end?
Can I now enter the UAE with an on-arrival visa as a Canadian citizen or do I need to take an additional step before entering? And If so, do you guys offer services to help me with that?
Thank you!

Easy! Go to the MOFA website, do a visa check, and you will know if it is valid or not. If it is valid, then you can come, as usual, if not, you will have to follow the regulations in this regard as your country allows you to visit the UAE without a visa.
Dear questioner,
Please provide us with a copy of your passport and visa via email so that we can check your name in the immigration system and let you know the outcomes in order to avoid any further issues which can face you at the airport during arrival.
Thanks!
