Release from police custody after the settlement of bounced cheque amount

Sir,

My friend is in police custody for bank loan instalment delay in Commercial Bank of Dubai. We already paid the amount, then what is the procedure for releasing my friend from police custody?

If the case is in Dubai and the case is confined to cheque bounce, your friend can be released by withdrawal of the case by the bank on the settlement of amount. If you have already paid the amount and settled with the bank, you may ask the bank to withdraw the case.
