File an absconding case against an employee who is under husband’s visa

Good day!

Asking for your help regarding the below case.

I have a friend who worked in the UAE before while she was under husband’s visa, but she left the country and didn’t return to work without noticing her employer.

Her problem now is that she is applying as an immigrant for another foreign country which requires Police Clearance. She’s afraid that she might have an absconding case which may hinder her to get the clearance.

Can an employer file an absconding case against an employee under a husband’s visa?

Dear questioner,

Absolutely, yes, the employer can file an absconding case against her even if she is under her husband's visa.

She can try to apply for getting PCC for an immigrant.

If she could not get it or defaulted, please feel free to contact us via email so then we can assist her to get it.

Thanks!

Hello,

To start with, yes, the employer can file it even if she is under her husband's visa.

So she should apply for the Police Clearance Certificate. If they don't give it to her, it means there is a case filed against her.
