Suing a beauty salon for damages occurred during a standard procedure

Dear community,

Our relative is on a tourist visa in Dubai. She has visited a beauty salon yesterday in DIFC. A standard procedure has resulted in severe cut with continuous bleeding, in sensitive parts.

The salon didn't charge her and they followed up asking if she was okay. We bought medicine to stop the bleeding at home. We didn't visit the hospital or a doctor, as we have an 8-month-old baby and it is not easy to do this.

At this stage, we want to sue them for these damages, because it is yet to be seen how this will impact in the future.

Kind Regards,

Dear questioner,

it is highly recommended to receive a medical report and then a police report.

We can advise and assist further in addition to the civil compensation claim.

We will check also if this will fall under Dubai or DIFC court and the estimated cost.

You should receive a medical report via asking the DHA ministry, and then a police report based on the incident.

We shall advise and assist further in addition to the civil compensation claim.

Kindly feel free to contact me via email.

Hello,

As the area is in DIFC, you can put a claim in the DIFC court for compensation.

As there were bruises, there should be sufficient evidence to prove the same.

Please contact us via phone or email for further assistance.
