هل يمكن حل مشكلة شيك مرتجع في قسم الشرطة؟

تلقيت مكالمة من شرطة جبل علي حيث أن عليّ شيك مرتجع بقيمة 60 ألف درهم لبنك الخليج الأول ويريدون أن يروني في الصباح.

أخبرني أحدهم أن هناك سياسة جديدة تسمح بتسوية قضايا الشيكات المرتجعة في قسم الشرطة، وعندما هاتفني الشرطي، طمأنني أنه يمكن تسوية المشكلة هناك في نفس اليوم.

هل هذا صحيح؟ ماذا سيحدث إذا ذهبت إلى قسم الشرطة؟

Yes, it is true. If you go there and deposit the amount in favor of the complainer, the police will not take any action against you.

If you don't have the funds you will have to deposit your passport (or another person's passport) and you cannot leave the UAE unless the amount is settled.

I was told so because they have a court at Jebel Ali. It can be settled with a fine and it will be finalized there.

Yes possible. Whether it's a court or a police station, if you go there and deposit the amount in favor of the complainer, the authorities will not take any action against you.

If you don't have the funds you will have to deposit your passport (or another person's passport) and you cannot leave the UAE unless the amount is settled.
