Please note that it highly depends on how your entitlement to the said fee is drafted within your contract and how is it mentioned in your company's internal regulations.

In all cases, you have to inform the HR of your company that you are claiming such fee knowing that your spouse as well did claim it from his company and you should never provide wrong information or fabricated receipts to your employer because this may be interpreted as a crime.

We can assist you by reviewing your employment agreement, your spouse's employment agreement and both companies internal regulations to make sure you have the right to claim such amounts or not, or even to inform your employer about the facts and leave it to their discretion to decide to pay you or not.
