How can an investor contact people for business opportunities in the UAE

Hi,

I would like to know please how can a new company looking for investment legally approach individuals to do so? (i.e. individuals who are not friends or family).

Is it legal to post something on social media for example?

There is nothing in the law against seeking investment from individuals not related to you.

Just make sure that your social media postings comply with the general rules related to public communications and decency.

You have a variety of options to work with investors at the early stages including convertible notes... etc.

My firm has lots of expertise in startup financing so please feel free to reach out to us at our email to discuss how we can help in this area.

Dear Questioner,

Seeking investment in your own company is allowed as long as you are doing it through the appropriate channels and in a legally acceptable manner.

Posting on social media is one of many tools to communicate with the public and mainly your network. At the same time, it is a very sensitive surface as whatever is written there stays forever.

So, your posts should be reviewed by a qualified professional who makes sure the wording is a true reflection of what you mean and that it doesn't include anything that implies any breach of the local regulations.

We can assist you with such an inquiry. If you wish to get a proposal you can send me an email and we will assist you further.

Best regards,

Using social media for marketing is a normal and legal way.
