Civil case by the bank claiming cheque amount more than the original debt

Cheque bounce cases do not end by paying a fine in the Dubai police station. Dubai civil court gives judgment in absentia for cheque amount + 12% interest.

The civil court execution department put a travel ban and you get arrested at the Dubai airport/your office/home and you stay in jail until you honor civil court judgment.

Banks do not negotiate or talk about this stage.

What to do if you do not have money to pay civil case judgment of cheque amount + 12% interest?

How to get out of this problem?

What if I originally owe AED 4,000 (I have proof in documents) but the bank wrote AED 198,060 and secured judgment in absentia to pay AED 198,060 + 12% interest annually in civil court.

Then the execution department put a travel ban.

What are my options in the above situation?

Hi

Since it's a civil case in absentia and you are disputing the interest, you can appeal, appoint an accounting expert and reduce the accumulated interest.

We can assist in this consultant report aiming to reduce the amount. Please contact for more details.

No. I'm disputing the false written amount on my security cheque.

I owe originally AED 4,000 but the Bank wrote AED 198,060 and filed a civil case and secured favorable judgment in absentia for the cheque amount + 12% interest. Assuming total would be approx AED 300,000.

I believe the execution department will only want the full amount of AED 300,000 or a payment plan to pay AED 300,000 in installments.

The false cheque is based on the calculation of the accumulated interest.

If you need further assistance and advice documents to be provided to the email above.

My apology for not explaining my question to you properly.

1- I owed AED 4,000 in November 2008.

2- The Bank wrote AED 198,080 on my security cheque to file a police case in November 2008.

3- in 2013, The civil court gave a judgment in absentia to pay AED 198,080 + 12% interest.

This is not the question of how the bank can do it, because the bank did it and back in 2008 banking collection department was way aggressive.
