Terminating an unlimited contract by an employee due to having a better offer

Hi,

I am nearly 6 months resident (6 days more) based on a visa issued in my current company.

I decided to resign immediately due to having a better offer. Are they going to ban me?

Considering I had given an unlimited contract, I am working in a Non-FZ Ajman location, do I need to pay for the visa they provided me?

Is there any chance they can agree to my resignation?

Great advice is highly appreciated!

Dear questioner,

Please note that your employer cannot ask you to reimburse the visa expenses incurred by him. It is the employer's responsibility to bear the visa expenses of the employee.

As per Ministerial Decree (766) of 2015, since you have already completed a period of six months, you can get a new work permit without any restrictions from the ministry if you perform the notice period obligations as per your employment contract [min 30 days or max 3 months] and continue to honor your contractual obligations during that period.
