Obtaining a PCC in case of a pending loan after being made redundant

I have a salary transfer loan of circa AED 660K, out of which AED 600K is remaining. My company made me redundant.

I need guidance over loan settlement and what would be the impact on the police clearance certificate in case the bank files a case against me.

I am ready to face the court of law but I only have 2 months before my visa will be cancelled.

Dear Questioner,

The bank can bounce your guarantee cheque if you do not pay the instalments and might file a criminal complaint. Therefore, the PCC would not be granted.

Thanks.

Some question arising in my mind

1) How long does the process take to get clearance from Police, court, bank... etc. from the date when the case is filed.

2) Can the bank file a case for the outstanding amount more than the instalments left?

3) I heard the UAE courts are flexible in terms of penalty. What could possibly be the court penalty for circa AED 500K outstanding?

Dear Client,

Welcome to my chat inbox.

I hope you are fine. I will definitely help you with this matter.

The bank has a right to file a civil as well as a criminal case by bouncing your security cheque. And if the case is filed against you, then your PCC application will be rejected.

For further information, you can write an email to us or call. We have a good team of lawyers to handle all kinds of cases. I am happy to help you. You can fix a personal meeting at our office.

Thanks and Regard
