Q: Hi,
I would like to resign from the company where I had worked for almost 3 months. I am still under the 6-month probation period.
I gave a 1-month notice in my resignation letter. My contract is limited. Would the employer ask for any compensation and issue an immigration ban?
Thank you!

Can I resign during probation to take another job offer?
2
Q: Hi,
I would like to inquire if it is possible to leave my current job and join a new company, yet my visa is limited and I only work for 3 months now.
Do I need to pay a certain amount to my current employer and cancel my residence visa? What are the pros and cons of this matter?
Thanks

The maximum period of ban after resigning before the end of a limited contract
1
Q: Greetings!
I am a home care nurse for a private company here in Dubai, worked for 1 year in service under a limited contract.
Due to some problems with my DHA licensing, I cannot proceed to apply for the license unless I decide to go back to my home country & fill in my gap year there.
With this, I decided to talk to my employer that I want to resign so I can make use of the DHA RN exam that I passed when I come back here again next year.
But unfortunately, they told me I cannot resign because they helped me process the exam and funded it even though all the expenses were deducted from my salary.
They told me if I do so, I will have to pay the cancellation fee & the 45 days salary which I am willing to pay. I am planning to come back here to Dubai after a year, so I would like to ask if the company can ban me from entering and applying here again?
Thank You!

Resigning during probation to take a better offer
1
Q: I want to leave my job. I'm working with an L.L.C. company based in Abu Dhabi since April-2019 (2 months over) and now I want to change my job to another company as the other company is offering good salaries and benefits.
Currently, I'm working in a LIMITED TERM EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT with my current employer. So is there a labor ban imposed on me because right now I'm under probation period with my current employer and I don't know my skill category?
On my work visa, it is stated that (PROFESSION-ARCHIVE CLERK) and my certificate is not attested.
Please clarify my doubt; what my current employer will do against me if I leave him (labour ban, penalty, or anything) on me?
Your kind and immediate action in this matter is highly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance!

View allHow to get the security deposit from landlord after finishing all proceedings? 0
The landlord has not returned my security deposit worth AED 5000. I filed a case and have judicial announcements that the landlord should return deposit+expenses. But still no response.
The landlord is out of the UAE and his property is handled by the agent. Not sure how to get my money back while I followed all procedures, even filed an execution case but no response.
While I keep paying to follow up on the case, the property is rented out to the next tenant and earning money. I feel like this system is created like this on purpose.

Is it possible for the employer to drop a case filed by employee in free zone? 0
I filed a complaint to SHAMS regarding unpaid salaries.
My employer drafted a contract saying I should drop the complaint within a week. If I fail to do so, they have the right to do it themselves.
Is this acceptable?

Winding down an LLC company and the liability of the manager after absconding 0
Hi there Michael,
I am a 24% shareholder in an LLC wherein the other shareholders are our local partner with 51% shares and the partner who is listed as manager on the trade license with 25% shares.
The manager has absconded leaving behind unpaid VAT and other debts that are well over 30 days due (up to a year). No proceedings by creditors have been filed against the company and the MOA contains a general POA in favor of the Manager.
I would like to wind down the company without going through bankruptcy procedures. My understanding is that the listed manager of an LLC is personally liable for the Company's debts.
I need advice about the procedures required to wind down the company. I do not wish to go through bankruptcy procedures as the finances and management of the company were being handled by the manager. I am just the creative director of the LLC.
Please advise as soon as possible.

Requirements and procedures of attending an online labour case hearing 0
Good afternoon,
I have a few questions regarding my upcoming labour case. My contract was unlimited and my employer falls under the immigration authority, where I worked for 3 and a half years and I have a claim amount of AED 36,000.
I have filed a labour case for unfair termination and I've had my case registered through Adheed Centre. They have filed my complaint and given me my case number and now I have been asked to attend a first hearing on the 7th of July and I've been told that it will be a remote hearing.
I just wanted to know if possible what the procedures are for this remote hearing and how it will be and if it's necessary to have legal representation for my labour case?
Having seen the people in the Centre, I am pretty certain a good number of them can not afford a lawyer as well.
So in case they don't speak Arabic and don't have a lawyer present, how will the hearing and case proceed?
