Attestation of a degree issued in Canada to be used in the UAE
I have a bachelor's degree from a Canadian university, but I live in Pakistan now.
I will be moving to Dubai in a couple of months, and intend to work there.
Can my Canadian degree be attested in Pakistan? If not, what would be the procedure, and how much will it cost?

If the bachelor's degree is issued in Canada and you are planning to use it in the UAE, there is no need to attest it to be used in Pakistan.
Since Canada is the country in which the degree was issued, you should check with the authorities there about what will be the attestation process of the diploma to be further used in the UAE.
Usually, the diploma is attested by the notary, foreign affairs, ministry of education, and lastly, by the UAE Embassy in Canada.
Once you are in the UAE, when all attestations are attached thereto, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE and/or other authorities might need to attest it as well.
The procedure mentioned above is a general one, and it may not apply in your case.
Please note that UAE is not part of the Hague Convention, and the simplified apostille procedure will not work when attesting documents to have the same force and effects in the UAE.
